Energy and CO₂ screening for buildings in Germany — from the bills you already have.

EnergyLens turns 12 months of utility bills or 15-minute meter data into a transparent report: emissions by energy carrier, CO₂ cost exposure to 2035, indicative energy class and costed decarbonisation options. Every number shows its source.

Who it is for

Property owners and Hausverwaltungen

A clear view of energy use, CO₂ and CO₂ cost exposure per building, built from invoices you already hold.

Energy consultants and ESG advisers

White-label screening reports that you can review and hand on to your clients.

Commercial buildings with 15-minute meter data

Sites above roughly 100 MWh/year of electricity typically have interval metering — ideal for a load-profile analysis.

  • Natural gas accounts for 88% of this building's CO₂ emissions.
  • Under the business-as-usual outlook, 2030 intensity is 42% above the German building-sector reference (KSG).
  • CO₂ costs on fossil fuels: €6,392 in 2026; €6,392–€17,044 in 2030 (low–high scenario).

What EnergyLens is

  • A desk-based screening built from your bills or meter data and from public reference values.
  • Indicative figures, each labelled with its unit, area basis, year and source.
  • A starting point for deciding where a closer look is worthwhile.

What EnergyLens is not

  • Not an assessment under DIN EN 16247 or EDL-G.
  • Not an Energieausweis and not an Energieberatung eligible for BAFA/KfW funding.
  • Not legal, tax, valuation or investment advice. Costs, savings and subsidies must be checked by qualified professionals.

How you receive it

Your PDF report and Data Pack arrive by email. Your client portal remains available for 90 days after delivery, showing only your own buildings: interactive charts, a scenario simulator saved to your account, report history with downloads, and an AI assistant (beta, up to 20 questions a day). Continue with a yearly EnergyLens Update.

Open methodology

Every emission factor, price, threshold and default is published with its source, validity date and last-checked date. Automated calculation checks compare the engine against hand-worked expected values.
